Basel Technology Park - Opening ceremony after the expansion
The Basel Technology Park is part of the Stücki Business Park and has been offering around 1’500 m2 of office and laboratory space since the end of 2011. The premises have been designed to best suit the purposes of young technology companies from the life sciences industry, chemical industry, environmental and energy technology, nano technology and information and communication technology. The premises are rented on flexible terms and the companies can also benefit from a shared infrastructure and a variety of services.
The Canton of Basel-Stadt made the decision to extend the Basel Technology Park back in 2012 due to the high demand and in order to meet the expansion plans of the tenants. During the construction of the extension, the park was increased a further 1’900m2 so it now stretches over an area of 3’400m2. Since July 2014, the Basel Technology Park also boasts an impressive reception area and an auditorium with versatile uses, in addition to a doubling of the laboratory and office space. This news is made all the more welcoming by the fact that a large part of the additional space was already rented by as early as September 2014.
The official opening ceremony of the extended Basel Technology Park will take place on Thursday, November 13, 2014. The celebrations will begin at noon with an „Open Day". Interested parties can visit the Basel Technology Park and take part in an interesting programme from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. with guided tours, refreshments and other attractions.
Do not miss out on this fantastic opportunity. Drop in at Hochbergerstrasse 60c to see for yourself. The Open Day will finish with the official ceremony as part of the annual „meet innovation" event for invited guests.
