At the Crossroads of Healthcare - Leading DIA Europe 2018 healthcare conference returns to Basel

For the past 30 years, DIA has brought healthcare professionals together, to provide a neutral forum to discuss current issues, with the goal of uncovering new ways of working, and new solutions for patients. By incorporating representatives from the full life sciences landscape it facilitates open collaboration. The conference ensures that industry, payors, patients, and regulators, all have an equal voice.

DIA is bringing this flagship European conference back to Basel in April of 2018. The 2018 scientific programme introduces over 65 sessions across nine challenge-driven, cross-functional topics, including “Can Regulators and HTA Bodies Create Synergies for Patient Access?,” “Medicines of the Future: What Will Innovation Need and Bring?,” “How Can We Enable Clinical Research in Europe Further?” Individual sessions delve into specifics of focused issues, while collaborative, interdisciplinary DIAmond sessions uncover multi-faceted perspectives on overarching questions about the future of drug development. New for 2018 is the launch of DIAlogue sessions: dynamic, outcome-focused sessions where stakeholders converge to solve a real problem. The conference closes with the highly successful Rapid Fire session, so while 65+ individual sessions might seem overwhelming, the closing session will share key content take-aways and insights from across the full conference.

In addition to content-driven conversations, the three day programme dedicates time to numerous networking opportunities. The conference includes a reception for young professionals on Monday, 16 April which is, open to the public. To register, please visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/8FCYP6S. In addition to the 10+ networking breaks, topical speed networking sessions will take place to facilitate new connections in attendees’ direct areas of expertise.

The extensive programme allows participants to create their own customised experience at DIA Europe 2018 by carefully selecting the individual events that they attend. A particularly wide range of options is available, which can be selectively tailored to participants’ personal and professional development.
