Who is entitled to receive support?

Companies taking on apprentices that are based in the canton of Basel-Stadt and which are experiencing financial difficulties due to the exceptional situation, whose employees are working short-time either in full or in part and whose apprenticeship contracts are threatened.

Which costs are being financed?

Gross wages of the apprentices according to the apprenticeship contract as well as costs for training courses.

Duration of support

1 January 2022 - 31 March 2022

• Please send the application form including enclosures (in German only) to lam.awa@bs.ch
• The Office of Economy and Labour will check the submission of the short-time work statement for the respective month and will be paying the allowance directly to the training company.
