The Basler Sozialpreis für die Wirtschaft promotes the occupational integration of people who are limited in their capacities. The prize money worth CHF 10,000.00 is awarded every year to one or two companies in the Canton of Basel-Stadt for their commitment to integration programmes.

People who are limited in their capacities due to social, mental or other health reasons find it hard to succeed in our society, whether it is accessing education opportunities or entry into an occupation.

The Basler Sozialpreis für die Wirtschaft aims to create opportunities and make a difference. Its goal is to open doors to allow these people to enter the world of work. When politics, administration and business jointly pull together on this initiative, this goal can be achieved.

That is why the Basler Sozialpreis für die Wirtschaft promotes the professional integration of people who are limited in their capacities. Every year, one or two companies from the Canton of Basel-Stadt are awarded the prize money of CHF 10,000.00 at an awards ceremony for their commitment to integration programmes.
