Tech Park Basel
Tech Park Basel in the Stücki Park offers innovative start-up companies, on almost 6,700 m2, office and lab premises at attractive conditions, a shared infrastructure as well as various services. These include, among others, a staffed reception, network and telephony as well as designated equipment rooms and wash rooms.
Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area
The Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area is part of the national network of Switzerland Innovation and has four locations: Main Campus in Allschwil, Basel, Jura and Novartis Campus in Basel. The offer is aimed at start-ups in the fields of biotech, medtech, digital health, healthcare technology and industrial transformation. The Innovation Park offers state-of-the-art infrastructure with coworking spaces, offices and labs at competitive rents and a stimulating environment with a vibrant community.
DayOne
DayOne is the leading digital health and medtech accelerator in Switzerland and accelerates the digital transformation in healthcare. The initiative brings start-ups together with partners in the field of healthcare innovation and with leading research institutes. The programme launches projects, strengthens the community and promotes innovative companies through coaching and the use of infrastructure.
BaseLaunch
BaseLaunch supports biotech companies in their start-up and growth. The programme provides access to lab facilities, expertise and a strong network of industry partners and investors. Through individual coaching sessions and tailored training, BaseLaunch helps participants develop their business models, secure funding and overcome regulatory challenges.

BaselTech: Discover the ICT ecosystem of the Basel region. Find out who is working on the same technologies and topics and learn more about innovation programs, space offers, startups and research partners.
Convention Promotion
Find out here, how the convention promotion of the Canton of Basel-Stadt contributes to the further development of convention-related tourism. Conventions are specifically acquired, developed and held, thus accessing a potential not yet exploited with benefits beyond tourism.
Rent relief for technology start-ups
For technology start-ups with specific requirements in terms of rental space (such as laboratories, cleanrooms, space for pilot productions or high-tech production, specific IT or server rooms, etc.), the Economic Development Unit offers special short-term grants for rental expenses. This means that in the short-term we can provide you, on a quarterly basis, with support of up to a maximum of CHF 75,000 per year for a maximum of 50% of the rental costs.

Together with the cantons of Baselland and Jura, we finance innovation and investmentlocation promotion with a focus on selected fields such as life sciences, healthcare and production technologies.of technology. Basel Area Business & Innovation is dedicated to helping companies, institutions and startups find business success in the Basel Area.
The Cantonal Government has also decided to strengthen innovation funding in the period 2023 to 2030. The following funding programmes from the innovation fields "Innovation in Life Sciences", "Sustainable Economy" and "Digital Innovation" are being planned: BaselCircular, Innovation in Life Sciences, Basel2037.
